The Reading Property Meet is a friendly, independent property networking event which has grown from a handful of attendees to over 40 per month!

We meet on the last Thursday of every month at the Thames Lido. The atmosphere in the room is infectious! With renowned guest speakers, a pre-networking deal clinic with Adam and  lots of opportunity and time to network. You will get to meet fellow property professionals, with all levels of experience, who are only too happy to give you the benefit of their experiences – both good and bad!

The evening is hosted by Adam Vickers and Karen Stanbridge. They love networking and talking about property with both new and seasoned property people alike. Each month there will be guest speakers from the world of property and the professionals who work alongside them to offer people a chance to learn from their experiences.

Upcoming Talk:

‘Getting to Grips with Risk and De-risking’

This July, we’re delighted to welcome Louise Reynolds of Property Venture® to Reading Property Meet. Louise will be presenting ‘Getting to Grips with Risk and De-risking’, where she’ll share practical insights into understanding risk profiles and building confidence in taking calculated risks. She’ll also guide us through identifying and de-risking property investments using robust due diligence and what landlords need to be aware of in light of the Renters’ Rights Bill.

Here’s what you’ll take away:

  • A clearer understanding of different risk profiles and why yours matters.
  • How to build confidence in making smart, calculated property decisions.
  • The 4 P’s of Risk – where it lies and how to spot it.
  • Practical de-risking strategies through due diligence, and how upcoming legislation may affect you.

Louise is a Surrey-based landlord, developer, and bespoke property sourcer who also runs an online training programme to support aspiring property investors. A naturally risk-averse investor, she places de-risking at the core of her approach, both in her own portfolio and for her clients.

Her professional journey began in brand marketing before progressing into financial services and management consultancy. Louise has worked with some of the world’s leading brands, including Heinz, Reckitt Benckiser, Diageo and Krug Champagne, as well as respected UK institutions like The London Stock Exchange and Nationwide Building Society.

With over a decade of advisory board experience, including serving on the board of the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP), Louise is also a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Her blend of business and property expertise has earned her industry recognition, including an award for Best Boutique Property Business and features in both national and trade press.
